(1) Each province will have a provincial head as a representative of the Government of Nepal.
(2) The President shall appoint a provincial chief for each province.
(3) The term of office of the head of state shall be five years, unless the President relieves him before the end of his term of office.
(4) The same person cannot be the head of a province more than once.
